HUBBARD Delbert G. Hall, 82, died Saturday evening May 15, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. He was born February 17, 1928 in Sharon, PA., a son of George W. and Beulah Rathbun Hall, and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Hall was a sales representative for American Income Life for 20 years before retiring in 1994. He previously had worked for Art Instruction schools for 15 years.
Delbert served with the United States Air Force, Coast Guard, and the Merchant Marines during WW II and the Korean Conflict. He was an inventor, owned several businesses and enjoyed horses, golfing, music and watching boxing.
His wife, the former Akiko Ueno whom he married in 1950 in Tokyo Japan, died March 7, 2002.
His sense of humor, love of animals, and giving spirit will be greatly missed by his two sons, Ricky (Pam) Hall of Hubbard and Larry (Gabreille Daniels) Hall of Columbus; two daughters, Yanett (Ted) Pysher of Salt Lake City, UT and Naomi Frazzini of Hubbard; two sister in laws, Joyce Hall of Warren, and Seiko Ueno Saito of Tokyo, Japan; one brother in law Kenichi Ueno of Tokyo, Japan eight grandchildren, Kevin and Megan Hall, Chris and Clarissa Daniels, Nate, Jason and Alex Pysher and Jeremy Frazzini; a great granddaughter, Violeta Pysher.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a infant son, Dwayne Hall; two brothers, Oval and Frank Hall; three sisters, Kathryn Haun Weider, Vanita Lempka and Alberta Hopkins Bakondy.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Hubbard Union Cemetery.
