Debra Lynn Shilling, 60, of Hubbard, passed away suddenly, Wednesday evening, October 14, 2015 at 11:31 p.m. in the emergency room at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Main Campus in Youngstown, after falling ill at home.

Debra was born in Warren on July 1, 1955, the daughter of the late James C. and Helen E. (Armstrong) Kowacich, Sr. and was a 1973 McDonald High School graduate.

Debra was a homemaker.

Debra is survived by her husband Paul H. Shilling, whom she married on October 1, 1977, two sons Jason (Bobbi) of Hubbard and Justin of Youngstown; a brother James "Jim" (Vickie) Kowacich Jr. of McDonald; a sister Patricia (Jim) Sainato of Austintown; two grandchildren Gabriel and Taylor Shilling and nieces and nephews, Susan, Stacy, David, Jordan and Taylor.

Besides her parents, Debra was preceded in death by a brother Dave Kowacich and a sister Susan Kowacich.

A caring cremation has taken place under the direction of the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
