HUBBARD Dean Clifton, 66 of Hubbard died Saturday afternoon, July 19, 2003, at his residence. He was born August 27, 1936, in Youngstown, a son of Morgan and Regina Clifton and was a life long area resident.

Mr. Clifton owned and operated Dean Clifton construction for 48 years. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, camping, hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

In addition to his father, Morgan Clifton of Liberty, he leaves his companion, Mary Jane "Mert" Hivner Heiss of Hubbard; two sons, Michael (Rebecca) Clifton of Boardman, and James (Anita) Clifton of Liberty; a step son Thomas Heiss of Hubbard; a daughter, Denise (David) Ryser of Hubbard; a stepdaughter Debra (Blaine) Tinelli of Hubbard; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

His mother, two sisters, Shirley Hoffman and Lorna Adams, and a stepdaughter, Tami Engstrom, preceded him in death.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at The Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard, followed by Funeral services at 8 p.m.
