HUBBARD David W. Wardle, 67 of Stoneybrooke Dr. died Tuesday morning at Northside Medical Center. He was born March 7, 1934, in Youngstown, a son of James and Alice Weaver Wardle and lived most of his life in Hubbard.
Mr. Wardle worked for Union Auto Parts in Warren for 21 years. Prior to this he worked for Cleveland Auto Wrecking.
He was a member of the former Outsiders Buggy Club and past president and member of the Nifty-Fifties Scotty Campers Club. He enjoyed camping and fishing and was an avid dune buggy racer. He won several championships in his class and received "Sportsman of the Year" award many times. A devoted family man, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He leaves his wife, the former Mary Ann Klesch, whom he married April 4, 1970; five sons, David Wardle of Long Island, NY, Dale Wardle of Hubbard, Bryan Young of Inwood, WV, John Young of Hubbard and James Young of Lewistown, PA; two daughters, Alice Connelly and Marilyn Wardle, both of Hubbard; four sisters, Margaret Foore of Hubbard, Jane Garfoli of Slippery Rock, PA, Wanda Berkinyi of Hubbard and Nancy Vohar of Liberty; 10 grandchildren. A son, Daniel Wardle, four brothers and three sisters are deceased.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home. There are no calling hours.
