David Allen Lowry, 76, of Hubbard died Tuesday morning May 24, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born July 17, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA a son of Allen W. and Alma Ruth McKnight Lowry. Mr. Lowry, a 1956 graduate of Hubbard High School, furthered his education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and was an electrical engineer for Mare Island Naval Station in California for 9 years, before retiring in 1993. David enjoyed hiking and camping. David leaves two brothers, John C. Lowry and Stephen A. Lowry both of Hubbard and a sister, Ruth Elaine (James) Boring of Cedar Town, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James E. Lowry. Funeral services with Rev. John R. Selders officiating will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the services from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Hubbard Union Cemetery.
