HUBBARD David Edward Griffith Jr., 62, went home to be with the Lord Sunday morning October 13, 2024 at his home. He was born October 9, 1962 in Youngstown, a son of David E. and Beatrice M. Winwood Griffith.

Mr. Griffith, a 1981 graduate of Hubbard High School was a custodian for the Trumbull Career and Technical Center for over 18 years. He previously worked as an extruder for Indalex Aluminum in Girard retiring after 25 years. David was a member of the North Mar Church in Warren. He enjoyed anything outdoors, especially camping, hiking, cycling and kayaking and loved working out.

He leaves his wife, the former Ruth Ann Fell, whom he married April 14, 1984; three sons, Richard Griffith and his wife Olivia Grace of Austintown, David Griffith and his wife Melissa Marie of Tampa, FL and Stephen Griffith and his wife Rebecca Ruth of Hubbard; two brothers, William Ackworth of Clearwater, FL and Ross Griffith of Orlando, FL; a sister, Gail Hassler and her husband Richard of Fowler; two grandchildren, Zackary Michael Griffith and Flynn Ruth Griffith; a sister-in-law, Rhonda Gaborko and her husband Jonathan and their daughters, Rachel and Jessica Keller and her husband Joe and their children, Brooke and Collin. He also leaves his mother-in-law, Ruth Fell Berkshire of Hubbard and many nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may call on Sunday October 20, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the North Mar Church, 3855 E. Market St., Warren, OH 44484. A Celebration of David's life will follow at 4:00 PM at the church with Pastor Myron Daum officiating.

Private interment will take place at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
