LIBERTY TWP David J. Carey, 51, died Sunday morning May 8, 2011 at Northside Hospital. He was born June 10, 1959 in Youngstown, a son of Thomas S. and Genevieve G. Ridel Carey and was a lifelong area resident.

David loved his family and leaves a brother, Thomas P. Carey of Youngstown with whom he made his home; two sisters, Debra M. Gonda of Boardman and Shirley Ann Short of Youngstown.
