HUBBARD David J. Altier, 57, of Hubbard, died Saturday morning, November 4, 2006, at his residence. He was born on June 9, 1949, in Youngstown, a son of John and Marie O'Conner Altier having lived most of his life in the area.

Mr. Altier had been a nuclear health technician for Bartlett Nuclear of Massachusetts for 15 years. He was a U. S. Navy veteran, a member of VFW Post No. 3767 in Hubbard and a past member of The Moose in NC. David was a member of Calla Community Church in Canfield.

He leaves his wife, the former Mary Jane Hively, whom he married on July 30, 2005; a daughter, Amanda Altier of Cleveland; a son, Marc Altier of Girard; two stepsons, Shawn Brink and Caleb Brink, both of Canfield; three brothers, Julian Altier of Williamsburg, VA, John Altier, Jr. of Texas and Thomas Altier of Inverness, FL and three grandchildren.

His parents preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard.

Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home
