HUBBARD Private funeral services were held Monday for Darleen B. Giglio, 69, who died Friday morning March 9, 2012 at her home. She was born May 31, 1942 in Carthage, NY a daughter of James and Helen Coyer Smith and moved to Hubbard in 1980 from Rochester, NY.

Mrs. Giglio was a secretary for State Farm Insurance in Hubbard for 16 years, retiring in 2007 and was a member of St. Patrick Church. Darleen loved spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting, flower gardening and her two dogs, Snickers and Nekia.

She leaves her husband, James J. Giglio, whom she married January 12, 1963; three sons, Dave Giglio of Hubbard, Jeff Giglio of Idaho Falls, ID and Tim Giglio of Brookfield; a daughter, Melissa Giglio of Hubbard; two sisters, Peggy of Las Vegas, NV and Phyllis of San Antonio, TX and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Shirley and Wilma.

Interment took place at St. John Cemetery.
