LOWELLVILLE Darin M. Brindiar, 61, died Sunday evening July 5, 2026 at his home. He was born May 23, 1965 in Youngstown, a son of Donald M. and Sandra L. Nagy Brindiar.

Mr. Brindiar was a hardworking and devoted man, who spent many years as a skilled bricklayer and mason with Local No. 8 while also dedicating countless hours to farming. Darin found joy in the simple things in life – hunting, farming and tending to his garden, but nothing meant more to him than his family. He was always happiest when surrounded by those he loved and especially treasured making his great nieces and nephews laugh.

Darin leaves his son, Dylan Brindiar of Lowellville; his sister, Brenda Jones and her husband Rick of Girard and her children who Darin took great pride in helping raise, Greg (Megan) Mihaly, Justin (Amanda) Mihaly and Corey (Sabrina) Mihaly. He also leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his maternal grandparents, Bill and Ethel Nagy; his paternal grandparents, John and Elizabeth Brindiar and two uncles, Richard Brindiar and Robert Brindiar.

Family and friends may call on Friday July 10, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home. Memorial services will follow at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Darin’s final resting place will be at Jackson Cemetery.
