HUBBARD Daniel Alan Kilar Sr., 59, passed away Friday evening, May 17, 2024 at Sharon Regional Hospital. He was born October 4, 1964 in Youngstown, a son of Thomas P. and Marilyn K. Miller Kilar and was a lifelong resident of Hubbard.

Mr. Kilar, a 1983 graduate of Hubbard High School was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. Daniel, affectionately known as Danny, was co-owner and an integral part of Kilar Fabrication, since its inception in 1988, the Kilar family owned and operated business in Hubbard, OH. Dan's mechanical expertise, his unwavering kindness and creativity will be greatly missed. Dan was an avid fisherman, he loved camping and boating, riding his motorcycle and especially loved spending time with his family.

Dan leaves his wife, the former Susan I. Begeot, whom he married July 2, 1988; a son, Daniel A. Kilar Jr. of Hubbard; a daughter, Lindsey Townsend and partner Matt Rosile of Hubbard; his parents, Tom and Marilyn Kilar of Hubbard; a sister, Kelly McGill and partner Brian Breckenridge of Canton; brothers, Tom Kilar and his wife Marikay, Paul Kilar and his wife Maria, Bob Kilar and his wife Christine and Bill Kilar and his wife Su all of Hubbard; two sisters-in-law, Gina Shives and her husband Dave and Dawn Matola and her husband Tod; two grandchildren, Olivia and Bowen Townsend and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday May 24, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM at the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home with The Very Rev. Michael Swierz officiating.

Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
