BROOKFIELD Daniel W. "Dan" Phibbs Sr., 66, was called home on Thursday November 20, 2025 at Liberty Health Care Center. He was born January 26, 1959 in Youngstown, a son of Walter R. Sr. and JoAnn Pennock Phibbs.

Daniel, a lifelong area resident was a 1978 graduate of Hubbard High School, he attended two years of trade school and was a member of the Celebration Church in Hubbard. He was a self-employed contractor for many years, specializing in home improvements, retiring in 2005. Daniel was a well-loved Papa of eleven grandchildren, he loved spending time with his family, trips to the casino and traveling to Arizona to visit family. He liked to do things around the house, loved camping, watching football, especially the Browns and he loved the Lord.

Daniel leaves the love of his life, and wife, the former Jacqueline Schrader whom he married August 26, 1978; two sons, Daniel (Sarah) Phibbs Jr. of Hubbard; Joshua (Amanda) Phibbs of Masury; three daughters, Heather Phibbs of Peoria, AZ, Jenny Phibbs and Cassandra Phibbs both of Hubbard; a brother, Bruce (Lori) Phibbs of Gibsonia, PA; sisters, Robin (Dale) Ebert and Cathy Ebert both of Austintown; and eleven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Bobby, Dennis, David and Paul Phibbs and a brother-in-law Richard Ebert.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Don Sparman officiating.
