HUBBARD Dale E. Goterba, 78 of Hubbard, died Friday afternoon, November 28, 2003, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born January 20 1925, in North Lima, OH, a son of Paul and Mabel Martin Goterba and was a life long area resident.

Mr. Goterba worked for Ray Slavin Ford for 40 years retiring April 1, 1989 as the parts manager. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard, the Hubbard VFW, Post 3767, where he served as Quartermaster for many years, and served with the Army in World War II.

He leaves his wife, the former Margaret F. Wittenauer, whom he married May 10, 1947; a son, Richard (Sue Ann) Goterba of Hubbard; two daughters, Lynn S. (Steven) George of Oxnard, CA and Mary Beth Foltz of Hubbard; nine grandchildren, Jason Berndt, Brian Foltz, Francis Foltz, Jennifer Cannon, Jamie Cannon, Jr., Jessica Goterba, Amanda Goterba, Lisa Goterba and Allison Goterba and two great grandchildren.

His parents, a daughter, Catherine Joan Goterba and a brother Howard Goterba preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 9:15 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, 5 to 8 PM.
