HUBBARD Clyde E. "Jack" Edwards, Jr., 85, died Wednesday afternoon, May 4, 2011 at his home. He was born April 1, 1926 in Bellaire, OH, a son of Clyde E. and Ellen Datkuliak Edwards, Sr.
Jack was a maintenance supervisor for Westinghouse for 36 years, retiring October 1, 1982. He served with the United States Air Force during World War II, was a member of the BPOE Elks No. 103 in Sharon, the Hubbard VFW Post No. 3767 and was a member of the American Legion in Jensen Beach, FL.
Jack enjoyed golfing, playing cards and traveling.
He leaves his wife, the former Betty Fair, whom he married May 1, 1948; two daughters, Debbie (Bruce) Barnwell of Orlando and Denise (Dave Williams) Tombo of Hubbard; two brothers, Robert (Vicki) Edwards of Bakersfield, CA and Charles (Toni) Edwards of Mineral Ridge; three sisters, Betty Langston of Visala, CA, Pat Burton of Hubbard and Faye Fisher of Isle of Palms, SC; three grandchildren, Steven (Nichol) Pagley, Stephanie (Joe) Tombo O'Grady and Anthony Tombo; three great grandchildren, Gianna and Nomiki Pagley and Joey O'Grady.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Ray Edwards and a sister, June Edwards.
