AUSTINTOWN Clara Chengelis, 71, died Saturday June 5, 2010 at Northside Hospital Medical Center. She was born May 18, 1939 in Cleveland, a daughter of Ralph and Evelyn Boals Moening and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Chengelis was a cook for Bell Wick Bowl in Hubbard for 16 years. Clara enjoyed bowling, playing cards and loved her family and friends.

She leaves her husband of 45 years, John Chengelis, whom she married July 6, 1965; a daughter, Cindy (Mark) Ambrose of McKinley Heights; a stepdaughter, Jayne C. Zajac and her companion Andy of Poland; a brother, Paul S. (Linda) Moening of Girard; a granddaughter, Ashley H. Ruggiero of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Irene Miligi.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Lake Park Cemetery.
