FLORENCE, SC Christopher J. Palumbo, 36, died Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Carolina Hospital in Florence, SC. He was born December 17, 1969, a son of Donald and Nancy Mikulas Palumbo and lived in the area until 1995 when he moved to South Carolina.

He was a 1988 graduate of Struthers High School and enjoyed NASCAR, golf and fishing. Chris also enjoyed being with his daughter whom he home-schooled.

He leaves his mother, Nancy Palumbo of Hubbard; his wife, the former Ruth G. Johnson, whom he married on August 18, 1995; a daughter, Keila Christine Palumbo, at home; two brothers, Donald Palumbo and Brian Palumbo, both of Hubbard and two sisters, Jill Chesney and Julie Palumbo, both of Canfield.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, 6 to 8 pm and on Friday one hour prior to the service.

Contributions may be made to the Keila Christine Palumbo Educational Fund at any Farmer's National Bank branch.
