HUBBARD Mr. Charles C. Stokowski, 86, of Hubbard, died Sunday evening, June 2, 2002 at Liberty Health Care Center. He was born February 15, 1916 in Farrell, PA a son of Boleslau and Mary Tryniszewski Stokowski and lived in Hubbard for 46 years.
Mr. Stokowski was an electrical tester for the Westinghouse Electric Corp. for 35 years before retiring March 1, 1980. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Hubbard, the Senior Citizens of Highway Tabernacle, Youngstown and the Men's Garden Club of Hubbard. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, gardening and all ball sports. He was an usher and sang in the men's chorus for the Kathryn Kulman Foundation.
He leaves his wife, the former, Helen J. Rodomsky, whom he married October 5, 1952; two daughters, Joann Stokowski of San Diego, CA and Jean Weaver of Transfer, PA and a grandson, Charles. Three brothers, Frank, Joseph and Stanley Stokowski are deceased.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard.
Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Thursday, 5 to 8 PM.
