HUBBARD Charles W. Stuckey, Sr., 78, of Hubbard, died on Wednesday afternoon, September 19, 2007, at his residence. He was born on June 4, 1929, in Rimersburg, PA, a son of Joseph M. and Nellie W. Dickey Stuckey and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Stuckey worked for the City of Hubbard Street Department for 29 years, retiring in 1991. He enjoyed working on cars, gardening and tinkering.
He leaves his wife, the former Beatrice Joan Cupler, whom he married on July 3, 1951, five sons, Charles W. Stuckey, Jr. of Hubbard, Phillip M. (Patricia) Stuckey of Youngstown, Robert A. (Carol) Stuckey of Liberty Twp., Raymond A. Stuckey of Hubbard and Jerry M. Stuckey of Hubbard; two daughters, Betty J. (Frank) Peachock of Liberty Twp. and Ruth E. Stuckey of Hubbard; five sisters, Laura Graffius of Clearfield, PA, Bertha Greathouse of Austintown, Alice Holcomb of Liberty Twp., Dorothy Greathouse of Girard and Vivian Morrison of Youngstown; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, five brothers, Joseph, Raymond, Thomas, Daryl and Roy Stuckey and two sisters, Stella McCain and Bess Kohn.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard, where family and friends may call from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
