HUBBARD Charles M. Nord, 74, of Hubbard, died Wednesday morning, January 5, 2005, at Mahoning Valley Hospital. He was born May 22, 1930, in Youngstown, a son of Dewey and Bertha Moore Nord and lived in Hubbard for 45 years.

Mr. Nord worked for Jugenheimer Industrial Supplies in Hubbard for 10 years, retiring in 1995 and prior to this worked for Cavanaugh Industrial Supply for 30 years. He was member of the First United Methodist Church in Hubbard, where he was an usher and in the Men's Club. Chuck was very active in Boy Scout Troop 100.

He leaves his wife, the former Shirley R. Shilling, whom he married June 16, 1951; two sons, Charles L. (Rose Mary) Nord of Tallmadge, OH and Richard D. (Linda) Nord of Newton Falls; three daughters, Barbara J. (Jerry) Flynn of Hubbard, Linda J. (John) Huff of Hubbard, and Karen L. (Jason) Shelton of Newport News, VA; one brother, Jerould L. Nord of Warren; 20 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a daughter, Shirley A. Nord and a son, Robert A. Nord.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Hubbard.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church, prior to the service.
