HUBBARD Charles W. Glod, 61, of Hubbard, died Thursday morning, March 15, 2007, at Sharon Regional Health System. He was born October 22, 1945, in Youngstown, a son of John J. and Mary Robb Glod and was a life long area resident.
Mr. Glod was the founder and President of Bedford Water Technology in Hubbard, a water treatment, manufacturing and consulting company. He enjoyed reading, especially metaphysical texts, motorcycle riding and tinkering with his many tools and tractors. Chuck was always willing to share his knowledge and expertise and in doing so, he helped many people achieve their goals. Even in death, he helped others by being an organ donor. He was a 1969 graduate of Youngstown State University.
He leaves his wife, the former Rosemary Hornyak, whom he married July 28, 1979; one step son, Michael Hornyak of Liberty; three brothers, John W. (Shirley) Glod of Fowler, Dr. Edward (Donnatella) Glod of St. Charles, IL and Robert (Marsha) Glod of Pittsburgh, PA.
His parents preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
There are no calling hours or services.
