HUBBARD Charles L. Evans, 88, of Hubbard, died Sunday afternoon, October 28, 2007, at Humility House. He was born March 16, 1919, in Vanderbilt, PA, a son of George and Mary C. Becker Evans and came to Hubbard in 1952.

Mr. Evans was a truck driver for Roadway Express for 35 years retiring in 1980. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Hubbard and enjoyed golfing.

His wife, the former Marie L. Couillard, whom he married March 29, 1945, died October 27, 1998. He leaves three sons, James L. (Arlene) Evans of Brookfield, Daniel C. Evans of West Chester, PA and Robert D. (Nancy) Evans of Austintown; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Robert, George and James Evans and two sisters, Anna Mae Winslow and Helen Pratt.

Private funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.
