HUBBARD Catherine Rita Bednar, 70, of Hubbard, died Saturday morning, October 13, 2007 , at Hospice House. She was born on October 30, 1936, in Campbell, a daughter of John and Mary Sabol Bartos and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Bednar, a homemaker, was a member of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard, and a member of the Legion of Mary.

She leaves her husband, John Bednar, whom she married May 5, 1956; three sons, Kenneth (Vicki) Bednar, Michael (Patty) Bednar, and John Bednar, all of Hubbard; two daughters, Marita Miklos of Hubbard, and Jacquelyn (Greg) Zembrodt, of Covington, KY; two brothers, Raymond Bartos and George Bartos, both of Hubbard; three sisters, Helen Lencyk of Campbell, Dorothy Biskup of Gainesville, FL, and Cecilia Viglio of Lowellville; six grandchildren, Jason, Jared, Susan, Ron, Dominic, and Laura, and one great-granddaughter Kayla.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother John Bartos, and a sister Mary Budinsky.

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at 9:15 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, Hubbard.

Family and friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
