HUBBARD Casimir F. "Casey" Karolewski, 82, of Hubbard, died Sunday morning, October 13, 2002, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born December 5, 1919, in Farrell, PA, a son of Jacenty and Anna Kokot Karolewski and had lived in Hubbard since 1950.

Mr. Karolewski was a patternmaker for the former Valley Mould and Iron Corp., Hubbard, for 30 years retiring in 1980. Prior to this he worked for the Westinghouse Electric Corp., Sharon, PA.

He was a member of St. Patrick Church, a member of the former Men's Choir and did a great deal of volunteer work for the church serving on many Festival Committees and doing remodeling and carpentry work at the old church building. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Msgr. Francis J. Hughes Council No. 2072 and had served with the Civilian Conservation Corps. Casey enjoyed carpentry work, woodworking and Polish music. In the late 1930's, he played the violin with the State of Pennsylvania Orchestra.

He leaves his wife, the former Anne M. Janco, whom he married February 6, 1944; a son, Roger C. Karolewski of Steamboat Springs, CO; two daughters, Gail Anne Arneson of Niles and Marylie Paulowski of Canton, OH; a brother, Zigmond Karolewski of Los Alamitos, CA; a sister, Betty Wolanski of Hubbard; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. A son, Allen Karolewski, a brother Edmond Karolewski and his parents are deceased.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, 9:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church, Hubbard with the Rev. Timothy H. O'Neill officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, 5 to 8 PM.

Burial will be in Hubbard Union Cemetery, Hubbard.
