HUBBARD Carolyn LaCivita, 89, died Sunday morning December 19, 2010 at Liberty Health Care. She was born August 7, 1921 in Youngstown a daughter of Louis and Kathryn Matasick Vadjina and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. LaCivita, a homemaker, was a member of St. Patrick Church. Carolyn enjoyed playing cards, going on casino bus trips and dancing for many years with her husband at Kuzman's Lounge.

She leaves her husband, William R. LaCivita, whom she married September 12, 1953; a daughter, Sandra (Jerry) Hickman of Canfield; a son, Kenneth (Annette) LaCivita of Beavercreek, OH; a brother, Steve (Eileen) Vadjina of Youngstown; three sisters, Ann Drapcho of Struthers, Kathryn Popa of Hermitage and Louise Flynn of Hubbard and two grandchildren, Michael and Alyssa LaCivita.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother John Vadjina and a sister, Mary Komara.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 9:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick Church, 225 North Main St., Hubbard, OH 44425.

The family wishes to thank all the employees of Liberty Health Care for the wonderful care Carolyn received.

Burial will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
