Obituary


HUBBARD Carolyn Sue Kostecky, 92 of Hubbard, died Saturday morning, March 27, 2004, at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. She was born March 24, 1912, in Czechoslovakia, a daughter of Stanley and Anna Hercha Kostecky and came to this country at the age of 9 living most of her life in Hubbard.

Miss Kostecky was a cook at the White Rose Grill in Masury for 44 years retiring in 1987. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard and enjoyed reading and traveling.

She leaves a brother, John Samulka of Hubbard; four sisters, Helen Clark of Youngstown, Judy Aggers, Pauline Samulka and Margaret Dressel, all of Hubbard; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step father Peter Samulka, two brothers, George Kostecky and Paul Samulka, and two sisters, Anna Baker and Mary Bishop.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, 9:00 am at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 9:30 am at St. Patrick Church.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, 5 to 8 pm.
