HUBBARD Memorial services will be held Monday at 4:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home for Carole A. Grossman Evans, 72, who died Monday morning November 25, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. She was born January 19, 1941 in Painesville, OH, a daughter of John L. and Helen L. Snell Huotari and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Evans, a 1959 graduate of Cortland High School, was a clerk at Valley View Department Store for 15 years and was a home health aide for Home Health Care for 10 years. She liked Elvis, playing Scrabble with her family and playing Bingo with her friends from the Hubbard Manor. She enjoyed taking care of her patients while working at Home Health Care and loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Her first husband, Richard L. Grossman, whom she married August 23, 1958, died January 18, 1994; her second husband, Emery A. Evans of 19 years, died January 1, 2013.

She leaves two sons, Dennis D. Grossman of Chicago and Richard L. (Sandra L.) Grossman of Girard; four daughters, Denise D. Smith of Warren, Melva E. (Michael) Bohrer of Hubbard, Rhoda E. Currie of Hubbard and Sherri L. Wintjen of Masury; 11 grandchildren, Amanda Teutsch, Samantha (Joel) Fricker, Jeremiah (Marilee) Bohrer, Dennis Grossman Jr., Justin Grossman, Courtney Grossman, Jordan Wintjen, Juli Wintjen, Rick Grossman III, Gage Grossman and Dylan Bohrer; 9 great grandchildren, Aiden, Lexi, Julia, Mariah, Garrett, Bryce, Adrina, Jason and Leyla. She also leaves several step children and step grandchildren.

Family and friends may call on Monday one hour prior to the services from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
