Obituary
HUBBARD Bruce R. Currie, 55 of Hubbard, died Saturday afternoon, May 18, 2002, at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. He was born December 14, 1946, in Youngstown, a son of Bruce C. and Sally White Currie and was a life long Hubbard resident.
Mr. Currie worked for General Motors Corporation, Lordstown, for 30 years retiring in 1996, and was of the Catholic faith. He served as the coach for the Giants in the Hubbard Midget Football League for 10 years winning the league championship nine years. He was an avid sports fan and a 1965 graduate of Hubbard High School.
He leaves his parents, Bruce and Sally Currie of Hubbard; three daughters, Pamela S. Brooker of Westerville, OH, Kimberly J. (Tony) Swain and Jennifer K. Currie, both of Hubbard; a brother, Bradley W. (Rhoda) Currie of Hubbard; two grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, 5 to 8 PM and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
