HUBBARD Funeral services will be held Friday, 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home for Mrs. Betty D. Snyder, 87 of Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home, Niles, formerly of Meadowland Dr., who died Monday morning, May 14, 2001, at the nursing home.

She was born November 28, 1913 in Massillon, OH a daughter of Raymond and Betty L. McDermott Dorsey and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Snyder, a homemaker, was a member of Corner House Christian Church, Hubbard where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years and was honored as Mother of the Year. She was a former member of Central Christian Church, Hubbard. Betty was a member of the Ladies Masonic Club, the Eastern Star Lodge and enjoyed bowling.

She leaves her husband, Peter J. Snyder whom she married October 14, 1933; three sons, Rev. David Snyder of Edinburg, PA, Peter J. Snyder of Hubbard and Raymond G. Snyder of Superior, CO; a daughter, Mary Ann Ethridge of Newport Richie, FL; a sister, Nancy Daines of Michigan; 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. A great grandson, K. J. Barr is deceased.

Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
