HUBBARD Betty M. Smith, 74, of Hubbard, died Friday morning, August 15, 2003 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. She was born June 19, 1929 in Girard, a daughter of Arthur and Edna Hanna Bowyer and was a life long area resident.

Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of The First Christian Church, Girard and SOLO. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Tuesday Breakfast Ladies and Summer No Tap Leagues at Bell Wick Bowl, Hubbard.

Her first husband, Edward Habbert, whom she married in 1948, died in 1950 and her second husband, Elmer J. Smith whom she married in1954, died in1987.

She leaves one son, Gary A. (Debbie) Smith, of Hubbard; one daughter Connie L. Yozwiak, of Austintown; 3 grandchildren, Rachel (Jeff) Scacchetti, of Hubbard, Kerri Yozwiak, of Chicago, IL, and Kelli Yozwiak, of Boardman; 2 great grandchildren, Christian Smith and Jovanni Scacchetti.

Her parents, and one brother, David Bowyer preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Monday 1:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard.

Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
