Biography

YOUNGSTOWN Betty I. Long, 67, died Thursday June 21, 2012 at Hospice House. She was born June 17, 1945 in Punxsutawney, PA a daughter of Harry and Helen McQuown Harrold.

Mrs. Long, a homemaker, loved to play bingo, go fishing, vegetable gardening and always helped others. Betty loved spending time with her family and loved her son Richard and her grandchildren with all she had.

She leaves her son, Richard Long of Stella, NC; a brother, Harry Harrold, Jr. of New Castle, PA; two sisters, Elizabeth Parish of Youngstown and Nancy McCready of Youngstown and two grandchildren, Emily Dakota and Kyle Long of North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack Long; a son, Mitchelle Long and a sister, Lois Rubenoff.
