HUBBARD Betty Ann Donnelly, 77, died Saturday afternoon, February 3, 2007, at Liberty Health Care Center. She was born May 8, 1929, in Albion, PA a daughter of John H. Sr. and Sabrina Ann Burke Allen and lived most of her life in Sharon, PA.

Mrs. Donnelly was employed by the Sharon Herald retiring in 1996 and previously was a policewoman for the City of Sharon. She was a member of St. Patrick Church and enjoyed gardening, reading and puzzle books.

She is survived by two sons, Richard M. Donnelly of Hubbard and Ben M. (Jillian) Donnelly of Coconut Creek, FL; one daughter, Patricia A. Meckler of Hubbard; two sisters, Dolly Johnson of Lovington, NM and Sister Mary Caritas OBS of Bensalem, PA; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, William D. Donnelly Jr. and Allen M. Donnelly, one brother, John H. Allen Jr. and one sister, Helen Wells.

There are no calling hours or funeral services.
