YOUNGSTOWN Betty R. Busse, 57, died Monday evening October 8, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. She was born February 28, 1955 in Fort Rucker, AL a daughter of Bruce B. And Rosemary Shingleton Lanning and has lived in the area for 30 years coming from Akron.

Mrs. Busse, a homemaker, was a member of the First Baptist Church of McDonald. She loved her grandchildren, crocheting, Bingo and working puzzles. She also enjoyed watching TV, especially the Young and the Restless and I Love Lucy.

She leaves her mother, Rosemary Lanning of Akron; her husband, Jeffrey B. Busse whom she married in 1975; three sons, Jeffrey B. (Tricia) Busse of Youngstown, Donald K. (Georgia) Busse of Conneaut and David B. Busse of Youngstown; a stepdaughter, Jamie Henderson of Barberton; three brothers, Donald B. (Hanna) Lanning of Weathersfield, Kenneth (Ronda) Lanning of Lorain and David L. (Karen) Lanning of Akron; a sister, Joanne M. Lambert of Akron and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death her father; a brother, James B. Lanning and a nephew, Richard C. Lanning.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Friday 12:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Setser officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Interment will be at Tod Homestead Cemetery.
