HUBBARD Betty J. Brant, 74, of Hubbard, died Thursday afternoon, December 16, 2004, at Northside Medical Center. Betty was born June 5, 1930 in Somerset, PA, a daughter of Frank and Margaret Peterson Stevenson and was an area resident for 52 years.

Mrs. Brant, a homemaker, was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Hubbard and the Arthritis Group Swimming at the YMCA in Niles.

Her husband, Richard B. Brant, whom she married January 18, 1948, died in September of 1990.

She leaves two sons, Neil R. Brant of Hubbard and Carl E. (Barbara) Brant of Mercer, PA; three brothers, Frank (Margaret) Stevenson of Hubbard, Walter Stevenson of Vienna, and James Stevenson of Alden, NY; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
