Obituary


HUBBARD Betty W. Bishop, 82, of Hubbard, died Sunday morning, June 27, 2004, at Liberty Health Care Center. She was born February 7, 1922, in Sharon, PA, a daughter of Ralph O. and Florence C. Crouch Wilson and was a life long area resident.

Mrs. Bishop was a homemaker, a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Hubbard and its Charity Circle and Mothers of Twins Club in Howland. She was involved with the Second Wind Support Group and Treasures of Kindred Spirits Bible Study Class.

Her husband, C. Ray Bishop, whom she married November 25, 1945, died April 30, 1997.

She leaves three sons, C. James (Martha) Bishop of Hubbard, Richard E. (Lisa) Bishop of Lima, OH and Dr. Ronald E. (Anne) Bishop of Knoxville, MD; two daughters, Sara B. (Dr. James) Thompson of Verona, NJ and Susan F. (Dr. Larry) Koha Robertson of Pensicola, FL; a brother, Paul Wilson of Florida; a sister, Pearl Scarmack of Farrell, PA; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband; her parents; a son, David R. Bishop; three brothers, Harry, Ralph and Richard Wilson and two sisters, Ruth Meyers and Helen Wilson preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church prior to the services.
