HUBBARD Beatrice I. Carsone, 93, of Willoughby, OH, formerly of Hubbard, died Monday afternoon, March 21, 2005, at Fairmount Health Center in Willoughby. She was born January 24, 1912, in Fortune Harbor, Notre Dame Bay, Newfoundland, Canada, a daughter of Denis and Ellen Fitzpatrick Glavine, moving to Hubbard in 1945 and to Willoughby in 1993.

Mrs. Carsone was a graduate of St. Michael's College in Newfoundland, with a degree in accounting. She was a homemaker and previously worked as an accountant in Buchans, Newfoundland, Canada. A member of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard, she belonged to the Altar & Rosary Society, Infant Jesus of Prague and the Adua Lodge. She was also a member of the Hubbard Senior Citizens and the Knights of Italy-Grand Lodge of Ohio.

Her husband, Charles P. Carsone, whom she married October 27, 1945, died October 24, 1999.

She leaves her daughter, Ellen Pauline (Richard) Davis of Gates Mills, OH; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Davis of Lawrence, KS and two sisters-in-law, Lucy R. Carsone of Hubbard and Alice Glavine of Toronto, Canada.

Her husband, her parents, two sisters, Mary Lannon and Doris Goodfellow and two brothers, Cyril Glavine and Eric V. Glavine, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, prior to the service.
