HUBBARD Barry L. Shultz, 58, of Hubbard, died Thursday, December 18, 2003, at Northside Medical Center. He will be sadly missed. He was born on May 4, 1945 in Napolean, Ohio, a son of Glen and Doris Johnson Shultz, and lived in Hubbard for 34 years.

Mr. Shultz was an engineer at Taylor-Winfield Corp. for 20 years. He was a member of Hubbard First United Methodist Church, a 1968 graduate of Ohio State University and enjoyed woodworking and golf.

He leaves his wife, the former Cheryl May, whom he married on September 4, 1965; one son, Brad (Liz) Shultz of Fort Wayne, IN; two daughters, Brenda (Kris) Lightcap of Hudson, Ohio and Dr. Renee (Dr. Jesse) Sandlin of Washington, PA; one brother, Marion Shultz of Waterloo, IN and nine grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, a brother, Mark Shultz, preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Mr. Shultz will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2003, at the Hubbard First United Methodist Church.

Friends may call at the church, on Monday, 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the services.
