BROOKFIELD Barbara R. Deichler, 71, died Sunday afternoon, December 6, 2009 at Northside Hospital Medical Center. She was born October 27, 1938 in Campbell, a daughter of William and Helen Butch Oakley and was a life long area resident.

Mrs. Deichler, a homemaker, was a member of Masury United Methodist Church and enjoyed bingo, gambling junkets, cooking shows and Paula Deen cookbooks.

She leaves her husband, Ronald L. Deichler, whom she married September 10, 1960; a son, Ronald A. (Debbie) Deichler of Tipp City, OH; a daughter, Karen S. Deichler of Hubbard; a brother, Michael (Joanne) Oakley of San Diego, CA; two sisters, Nadyne Oakley of San Diego, CA and Patricia (John) Schwellinger of Hubbard.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Melvin and William Oakley.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
