HUBBARD Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home for Avis G. Cottrill, 91, who died Monday evening November 25, 2013 at her home. She was born May 7, 1922 in Norton, WV a daughter of Ira L. and Clesta L. Cain Ware and moved to Hubbard in 1941 coming from West Virginia.

Mrs. Cottrill, a homemaker, was of the Protestant faith. She loved to bowl and bowled on many leagues throughout the 70's and 80's. Avis enjoyed working in her flower gardens, but most of all she loved her Saturday family gatherings that had taken place at her house for many years.

Her husband, Brady M. Cottrill, whom she married May 30, 1939, died February 7, 1986; Avis will live on in the hearts of her 4 children, Gerald B. (Patricia) Cottrill of Norcross, GA, Leeta C. Louis of Austintown, Donna J. Cottrill of Hubbard and Linda Barnes of Hubbard. She also leaves a sister, June Mandolitis of Elkins, WV; 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; her best friend Bob Murphy and her cat Bo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Edward, Nelson and Huston Ware and three sisters, Mary Woods, Sarah Foraker and Wilma Heights.

Family and friends may call on Friday one hour prior to funeral services from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
