Aura Wheeler's Obituary
HUBBARD Aura J. Wheeler, 95, died Friday evening February 4, 2011 at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland. He was born August 25, 1915 in Sharpsville, PA a son of James B. and Chloe M. Jackson Wheeler and moved to Hubbard in 1948 coming from Sharpsville.
Mr. Wheeler worked for State Chevrolet and previously for Buick Youngstown and Valley Pontiac where he served as Vice President. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and served with the United States Navy during World War II.
Aura was a member of the Youngstown Club, the Youngstown Country Club, and the Sulgrave Lodge 696 of F and AM. He was a former president of the Hubbard School Board, past president of the Auto Dealers of Eastern Ohio and former director of the Dollar Savings and Trust for 10 years.
His wife, the former Lois Donnally, whom he married June 21, 1945, died October 24, 2003.
He leaves two daughters, Carolyn A. Jones of Sedelia, MO and Linda L. (Michael) Bernard of Hubbard; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren .
Funeral services will be held Friday 10:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.
Family and friends may call on Thursday 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 48 Church St., Hubbard, Hospice of the Valley Humility of Mary Health Partners, 5190 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512
Burial will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
