HUBBARD  Ashley Elizabeth LaCivita, 39, passed away Sunday morning June 9, 2024 at her home with her family by her side. She was born May 2, 1985 in Youngstown, a daughter of John LaCivita and Bonnie Staaf and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Ashley was a 2003 graduate of Hubbard High School and graduated from Youngstown State University with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She was the state lead medical planner for Innovative Emergency Management for 4 years.

Ashley enjoyed shopping, traveling and loved sitting in the sun at the beach. She was the life of the party and never walked into a room full of strangers.

She leaves her father and stepmother, John and Cindy LaCivita of Hubbard; her husband, Charles T. Hodge, whom she married July 29, 2006; a son, Mason John Hodge of Hubbard; a twin sister, Allyson Giovanni of Poland; a brother, Sean LaCivita of Wilmington, NC; a step sister, Jamie Schulte of Hubbard; a step brother, Dustin Schulte of Beloit; and an aunt, Brenda Loose of Monroe, MI.

Ashley was preceded in death by her mother and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Family and friends may call on Thursday June 13, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home and also on Friday June 14, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday June 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church with The Very Rev. Michael Swierz officiating.

Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
