Arthur Weiser's Obituary
HUBBARD Arthur E. "Art" Weiser, 96, died Monday morning January 17, 2011 at Northside Hospital Medical Center. He was born June 13, 1914 in Mercer, PA a son of Lawrence and Sadie Lowery Weiser and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Weiser was a truck driver for Hubbard Coal and Supply for 30 years retiring in 1984. He had previously worked as a welder for General American in Masury and Steelcar in Greenville.
Art was a member of the Brookfield United Methodist Church being very active in the church and serving as a trustee. He taught women how to weld during the war and enjoyed working on cars.
He leaves his wife of 73 years, the former Violet R. King whom he married May 28, 1937; a daughter, April Stine of Brookfield; eight grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 21 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Lawrence Edward Weiser and a daughter, Hazel Weiser.
Memorial services will be held Thursday 12:00 PM at Brookfield United Methodist Church.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.
