HUBBARD Mrs. Ardis J. Doan, 87, formerly of Hubbard, died Monday afternoon at John XXIII Home, Hermitage PA. She was born May 13, 1915 in Wayland, OH, a daughter of Evan R. and Harriet Ann Jenkins Jones.

Ardis was a teacher for the Hubbard Public School System for 23 years, retiring in 1977. She was a member of Lebanon United Presbyterian Church of West Middlesex, PA.

Her husband Charles R. Doan, whom she married October 17, 1936, died January 13, 1997; She leaves two sons, Robert L. of Clinton NC. and Thomas E. of Greenville, PA; two daughters, Judith A. Beck of New Bedford, PA. and Carolyn R. Lang of West Middlesex, PA; Ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Her parents, one brother, and one sister are deceased.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at the Kelley- Robb Funeral Home with calling hours one hour prior to the service.
