Antonette Amicone's Obituary


LOWELLVILLE Antonette R. Amicone, 82, of Lowellville, died Wednesday afternoon, May 30, 2007, at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. She was born on September 9, 1924, in Hubbard, a daughter of Ralph and Angeline Pratt Perline and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Amicone, a homemaker, formerly worked for Star Bottling Company in Youngstown. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Youngstown, formerly sang with the Penn Ohio Ramblers and volunteered at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Antonette enjoyed cooking, gardening and fishing.

She leaves her husband, Charles N. Amicone, whom she married on July 6, 1946; a son, Tony (Dotti) Pesce of Hubbard; two daughters, Fran (Leonard) Fabry of Lowellville and Rosemary (Emil) Dutko of Hubbard; three sisters, Marie Pittinger Edwards of New Bedford, PA, Theresa Knebel and Rose Ashman Capazutto, both of Hubbard; six grandchildren, Tony Pesce, Lori Pantone, Shawn Fabry, Scott Fabry, Candace Fabry and Emily Dutko and eight great-grandchildren, Anthony, Joel, Gianna, Sal, Jakie, Santino, Ava and Jacob.

Preceding her in death were her parents, six brothers, Frank, Angelo, James, Anthony, Ralph and Mike Perline, two sisters, Ann Camuso and Jennie Simeone and her Aunt Rose Pesce who raised her and was like a mother to her.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Immaculate Conception Church in Youngstown.

Family and friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard and from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church, prior to the service.
