HUBBARD Anthony M. Stare, 85 of Hubbard, died Monday morning, January 21, 2008, at Sharon Regional Health System. He was born October 30, 1922, in Youngstown, a son of Stephen and Catherine Mondura Stare and lived most of his life in Hubbard.

Mr. Stare worked for LTV Steel Corp. for over 40 years retiring in 1984. He was a member of St. Patrick Church and served with the Army in World War II.

He leaves his wife, the former Frances Piurkoski, whom he married November 20, 1948; one daughter, Connie Francis Miller and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, David Stare; his parents; two brothers, Stephen and John Stare and a sister, Mary Hogg.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service.
