Obituary


HUBBARD Anthony A. "Tony" Pitoscia, 81, died peacefully Saturday morning April 26, 2014, surrounded by his family at his home. He was born March 15, 1933 in Youngstown, a son of Joseph and Giovannina Colalillo Pitoscia and was a lifelong area resident.

Tony was a graduate of East High School and a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church for 57 years. He was a pipe inspector for Youngstown Sheet and Tube for 32 years, retiring in 1982; He also owned Tony Pitoscia Construction Company for 50 years and was a partner with his son David at Webb's Ice Cream. Tony enjoyed hunting, gardening, fishing, spending time at his cabin in West Virginia, cooking, canning and especially loved being with his family and grandchildren.

He leaves his wife, the former Dorothy T. Levandoski, whom he married July 5, 1952; three sons, Tony (Julie) Pitoscia of Hartford, David T. (Patricia) Pitoscia of Brookfield and Bill Pitoscia of Brookfield; 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and four sisters.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:30 AM at Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Tim O'Neill officiating.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Slemons and MVI Hospice for the wonderful care given to their father.

Tony's family requests memorial donations be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
