MASURY Anthony J. Madeline Jr., 85, formerly of Hubbard, died Thursday morning December 13, 2012 at Hospice House. He was born August 31, 1927 in Youngstown, a son of Anthony and Minnie Ross Madeline and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Madeline was a Seaman 2nd Class serving with the United States Navy during World War II receiving a victory medal and was a member of St. Patrick Church. Anthony was a chipper for Valley Mould and had previously worked at General Fireproofing and was a postman in Hubbard. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, golfing, flea marketing and going to auctions.
He leaves his wife, the former Estella Vensel, whom he married June 26, 1948; four sons, Tony "AJ" (Sally) Madeline III of Hubbard, Tom (Jo) Madeline of Hubbard, Ken (Rodney) Madeline of San Antonio, TX and Daniel (Jayme) Madeline of Hubbard; two brothers, Phil Madeline of California and Tom Madeline of South Carolina; two sisters, Ann (Chester) DeSantis of Hubbard and Barb Rosile of Campbell; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters, Katherine Immekus, Mary Williams, Ceil Ashman, Jenny Klutcher, Marge Ashman and a great granddaughter, Bailey Neely.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday 10:00 to 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.
Interment will take place at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
