Biography

HUBBARD Anthony Louis LaCivita, 27, died Friday November 26, 2010 at his home. He was born December 28, 1982 in Youngstown, a son of James M. and Cathryn L. Pettola LaCivita Sr. and was a lifelong area resident.

Anthony was a maintenance worker at Deer Creek Golf Course in Hubbard. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard and the Knights of Columbus. He graduated from Hubbard High School in 2001 and was a member of the National Rifle Association.

Anthony enjoyed listening to music and reading, was an avid movie watcher and loved to watch and attend Ohio State football games. Most of all Anthony loved his cell phone and spending time with his family and friends and his beloved dogs, Bogie and Diesel. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.

Anthony leaves his parents, James and Cathryn of Hubbard; two brothers, James LaCivita Jr. and Christopher LaCivita both of Hubbard; a sister, Mary Cathryn LaCivita of Hubbard; paternal grandparents, James and Phyllis LaCivita of Hubbard and maternal grandfather, Anthony (Harriett) Pettola of Hubbard; his girlfriend, Rachelle Yurko and her son, Danny; an uncle, Larry (Debbie) LaCivita; aunts, Toni (Art) Constantino, Karen LaCivita, Maria (Donny) Castner, Christine Mangan and Susan LaCivita; cousins, Michelle and Nick Constantino, Angela and John Violi, Jacob and Justine Castner, Elizabeth, Patrick II and Anna Mangan, Rocco and Kristi LaCivita, Michael Vasvari, Kaytlyn Violi and Jesse LaCivita..

He was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother, Boni Pettola.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday 4:00 to 7:00 PM at St. Patrick Church.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the family.

Burial will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
