PITTSBURGH, PA Mr. Anthony J. Scarpine Jr., 74, died Monday morning, July 8, 2002 at Dearborn County Hospital, Lawrenceburg, Indiana. He was born January 23, 1928 in Hubbard, OH, a son of Anthony J. and Theresa D. Tucciarone Scarpine Sr..

Mr. Scarpine was a service manager for Berts Auto Parts for 9 years, prior to this he worked for Saturn of Wexford for 3 years. He served with the United States Navy, was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed collecting cars and sports memorabilia.

His first wife, the former Betty Jean Parenti, died January 24, 1995. He leaves his second wife, the former Margaret Ceaser Shore whom he married August 7, 1998; two sons, Anthony J. Scarpine III and Daniel W. Scarpine both of Pittsburgh, PA; three daughters, Deborah Jean Scarpine of Louisa, VA, Kimberly A. Lapen of Mt. Airy, MD and Tina Ceaser of Pittsburgh, PA; two sisters, Mary Jean Hunt and Anne Elizabeth Rudinsky both of Hubbard and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2:30 PM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard, OH.
