HUBBARD Anthony "Ty" DelBane, 80 of Hubbard, died Friday afternoon, August 23, 2002, at Liberty Healthcare Center. He was born November 21, 1921, in Hubbard, a son of Louis and Theresa Carsone DelBane and was a life long Hubbard resident.
Mr. DelBane owned and operated Ty's Dailey Double in Hubbard for 35 years retiring in 1995.
He was a member of St. Patrick Church, the Knights of Columbus, Hubbard Council No. 2072 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hubbard Post 3767. He enjoyed fishing and sports. Mr. DelBane served in the Army during World War II in the European Theater.
His wife, the former Helen Mavronicolas, whom he married August 20, 1947, died July 26, 1974. He is survived by a daughter, Linda (Don) Phillips of Hubbard; a brother, Joseph DelBane of Hubbard; two sisters, Lena and Mary DelBane, both of Hubbard. His parents and three brothers, Frank, Michael and John DelBane are deceased.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 10:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.
