HUBBARD Anne M. Karolewski, 90, died Saturday afternoon at Chapel Hill Community in Canal Fulton. She was born July 3, 1921 in Struthers, a daughter of Michael and Sophia Franko Janco and was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Karolewski, a homemaker, was a member of St. Patrick Church. Anne enjoyed crocheting, sewing, knitting and baking.
Her husband, Casimir F. Karolewski, whom she married February 6, 1944, died October 13, 2002.
She leaves a son, Roger (Deborah) Karolewski of Steamboat Springs, CO; two daughters, Gail (Steve Votino) Arneson of Niles and Marylie (John J.) Paulowki of Massillon; a brother, Michael (Rosemarie) Janco of Troy, MI; three sisters, Sophie Tohl of Del Mar, CA, Helen Janco-Kerns of Scottsdale, AZ and Frances (Frank) Boscia of New Port Beach, CA; six grandchildren, Todd, Stefanie, Jeffrey, Jaclyn, John Allan and Hannah and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Allan Karolewski and a sister, Mary Lickman.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
